Trusted by Sony, Universal and Warner Chappell

Meet Max Honsinger, MixGenie Founder

Head Engineer Max has years of experience producing and mixing some of the biggest names in the industry, racking up over 100 million hits on Spotify alone. Trusted by Universal, Sony and Warner Chappell, he combines passion and creativity with a methodical and experienced hand.

Max spent his youth as a touring musician all over Europe, first as a drummer, then a synth player/vocalist. As a result he has a well rounded group of skills that complement any song.

Most importantly, he's been on the artist side of the mixing process and knows what it's like to hand over control of your ideas to a third party. Alongside the touring, he worked as a producer/mixer for both indie and Major labels, working with artists like The Beach, Bastille and even some small bits for the now legendary 1975.

But it was working with home recording artists where the need for polished mixes became apparent. Max has watched countless great songs miss out on the recognition they deserved because mix just wasn't right, leading artists to hold up their hands and give up.

And so, MixGenie was born!

Resident Guitarist, and Assistant Engineer

Meet Liam (Genie) Hayes

Liam Genie is our resident guitarist, assistant mix engineer and MixGenie's best looking Genie. Alongside his skills as a Melodyne Vocal Tuning expert, Orchestral Arrangement pro and session arranger... Liam Genie is a professional Guitarist, Bassist (aren't we all?), Drummer and Keyboardist.

When he's not throwing his magic into MixGenie tracks, you'll find him strutting the stage in London and the UK as a Session Guitarist & Multi Instrumentalist.

Splitting his time between session work, functions and remote studio work, his unique skillset has put Liam on the books for multiple professional function bands as a Guitarist, Bassist, Drummer, and Keys Player.

Only a Genie could play all those instruments at once, and that's where the magic is!
